A contemporary, chic and cozy tribute to the architectural era and surrounding environment, in an apartment untouched since the 1970s, overlooking the Israel museum and Mediterranean landscape.

Original design elements throughout the building captured my attention from the get-go, such as glossy mustard-colored tiles, faux wood paneling, and the mother-of-pearl mosaic embedded in the stone façade; remnants of forsaken Israeli periodic design. This abundant past was absorbed into the project’s DNA, and inspired a local, rich, modern Mediterranean concept. In the process of composing the projects' design language, we went over old belongings and decided what was suitable for the next chapter, and of what it was time to let go. Among those that made the cut were special finds, such as original Danish chairs that were reupholstered in soft leather, and a beautiful collection of copperware. With this unique historical and sentimental baggage, we embarked on a wonderful journey.
